Have you ever heard of a CVO (Caring Visionary Officer)?  Lauri Smith the author of Your Voice Matters: A Guide to Speaking Soulfully When It Counts, is the first one for me! She’s an intuitive public speaking and leadership coach, helps visionaries on a soul-driven mission to stand in their power, speak their truth and lead. Her mission is to call forth more open-hearted leaders so they can do their part to change the world with authenticity, creativity and courage.

Leadership Principle:

Leaders need to develop 3 traits:

  • Develop a vision
  • Communication of the vision
  • Creatively navigate to the vision

Habits to help you stay on top of your goals:

  • Yoga / meditation
  • If feeling overwhelmed, disengage and go for a walk or a stretch - shift the energy

Green Flags to help you determine if you’re ready for a shift:

  • Listen to your intuition - the more you listen, the more you see.

Advice to start listening:

  • Ask what your body wants you to know.  Notice if it is pulling you towards or resisting.
  • Writing down thoughts creates clarity
  • 2% truth rule.  Identify the kernel of truth in the message - it’s not 100% true it’s only 2% true.
